As parents there is one truth we can all agree on; kids ask for more, more candy, more toys, more time to play before bed, more hugs – those are the best and always a yes! However, more times than not we have to say, ‘No.’ But what would you say if your child wants to play more than one sport?
When it comes to our kids, we just want the best for them. We want them to be happy, healthy, successful, and fulfilled. We do everything in our power to provide the experiences that will help them on their journey.
Think of all the things that have come to an end for you this year, either big or small. What do we all tend to do once that ending occurs? We look back. There are many reasons why we do this, but perhaps the most common is to remind ourselves of what we want the future to look like. Looking back allows us to reflect on what we want to repeat, improve, or avoid going forward. 2019 is coming to an end in just a few more days. Amid all the things you might look back on across the past 12 months, we hope that you acknowledge the things you want to repeat or improve on as it relates to your family's physical health.
Not once in all of the years that JumpBunch has been offering sports and fitness classes for kids has there ever been a case where a child didn't want to play. They might have been shy at first or otherwise reluctant to "jump" right in, but the desire to do so was certainly there. Right now, I am thankful that we can look through the eyes of a child and be reminded as adults that play is a natural part of us all, and it is only with age that we start to choose not to make it part of our lives.
The classes that we teach for your kids are often not easy. Long before we arrive at the school there is lesson plan review, equipment organization, loading in the car, and a few other more administrative things that we won't bore you with! We do all of this to create the best possible experience so that your child will want more of the classes we offer. We do all of this just to have some fun, and when it is time to have that fun, We Go To Work!
There is an approach to time management that is measured by how important and urgent something is.
Essentially, running everything you have to do through a filter for importance allows you to determine where to best apply your time... and what tasks to not do at all. Still curious how it works? We've identified four "buckets" that can be used as a filter.

For any active person, eating the right things and avoiding too much of other things is important to have enough energy and to be healthy. With kids, it is just as critical for them to learn this early as it is for them to learn that being active is important...and of course fun!
